Why corporatism must die update: They're discussing universal health care on Bloomberg TV now...... |
|
..... and the host and his guest are more or less taking the position that it's needed in order for the Unites States to remain competitive globally. Good for Bloomberg, right? Well, not quite. The host and the guest want universal coverage, but only if they can keep the insurance companies involved, and health care stocks can return healthy dividends for shareholders.:(
Then again, what else should I have expected from a universal health discussion on Bloomberg TV, which is not exactly Democracy Now!, n'est-ce pas?

1. They are VERY nervous about health reform. A good plan would wipe them out. |

4. I can't wait until the health insurance CEOs make the trek to Capitol Hill ... |
|
Turn them into the pariahs they deserve to be, just as the media has done with the automobile CEOs.

2. If it's universal and people have the option to choose a public plan (e.g. medicare)... |
