Sadly, throughout the decades, both Democratic and Republican Congresses and Administrations have presided over the growth of these monstrosities. I don't believe the problems found within our economic system will be resolved until people address the rot inside the government. Unless that happens first, nothing fundamental will truly change. Any such changes will be window dressing at best unless the rot in government is removed first.
