Anyone try to search for a phone number on 411.com or

switchboard.com lately? I have been trying all morning to find an old friend without getting myself tied up with classmates.com or one of those other reunion sites. Through Google and ASK.com, I have been cross referencing everything I can come up with and each time I try to get a phone number to call on the chance it might be a lead, up pops the "what credit card and what info do you want "type message. Phooey on that

Anyone know a phone # search site that is still free?

They have a free reverse # look up, too.

Name, address, and phone number are free. Deeper searches may cost money, but they have pretty much any listed person.

Businesses - White Pages (Search for businesses by name)

Businesses - Toll-free (800, 888 and 877 numbers)

Businesses - Yellow Pages (Search for businesses by business type)

US Government Directories (Federal and state government directories)

People: Public Records (Search for a person using official public records)

People: search by number (Reverse search, or criss-cross)

People: search by address (Find who lives at an address)

People: White Pages (Search for a person by name)
