The George W. Bush Revisionist History Tour
from THinkProgress:

Bush launches speaking tour, promoting his policies that were ‘controversial at times’ but ‘kept the country safe.’

As the Dallas Morning News reported earlier this month, George W. Bush’s first post-presidency address will be in Canada on March 17. The closed event is being billed as “a conversation with George W. Bush,” during which he will “share his thoughts on his eight momentous years in the Oval Office.” Politico reports that Bush has already scheduled at least 10 more speeches this year, in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. He is now represented by the Washington Speakers Bureau. From his bio on the site:

President George W. Bush served in the Oval Office for eight of the most consequential years in American history. Faced with challenges from a terrorist attack to a global financial crisis, he made difficult decisions that will shape the nation’s course and world affairs for decades to come. His leadership after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, was an inspiration to millions of Americans. His policies, while controversial at times, kept the country safe for more than seven years and liberated more than 50 million people from tyranny.

In 2007, Bush said he was looking forward to making a “ridiculous” amount of money on the lecture circuit once leaving the White House.

1. 50 million is an exaggeration.
He only liberated 1 or so million from the tyranny of life.

4. How many of those "liberated" people did he subsequently murder?
I'll keep saying it: bodies showed up by the truckload in Iraq, yet not a single truckload of bodies was ever caught in the act. (Look! There's another one.)

Who controls the trucking industry in Iraq? Kellogg, Brown and Root, during Bush's war, a subsidiary of Dick Cheney's Halliburton.

From this fragmentary evidence alone we can and should suspect that the United States and particularly the Bush Administration resurrected the Phoenix Program and adapted it to fit the conditions in Iraq (and probably also Afghanistan, and elsewhere).

5. Most appropriate would be that following the speech . . .
. . . an agent from Interpol slaps bracelets on the bastard.
