2. Just list the worst actors and entertainers you can think of
Edited on Tue Feb-24-09 01:06 PM by tridim
and inevitably they're Republicans.

Robert Duvall is the only exception. WTF?

Edit: BTW, Tony Danza is in the list you posted and he's a solid Democrat.

7. I'd heard about Joey Ramone. His and Dennis Hopper's presence shows hard drugs are indeed dangerous
...and too much ingestion totally fucks up your judgment...

31. No, it was Johnny, not Joey. And Johnny wasn't a big druggie.
He lived in the apartment across the hall from me for many years.

This list has some errors.

20. JOHNNY Ramone was the wingnut! The late Joey, most assuredly,
was NOT a right winger!

Joey was responsible for the writing of "Bonzo Goes to Bitburg", a scathing criticism of Reagan's visit to the cemetery where he commemorated the deaths of a number of SS personnel that died in WWII...

25. It wasn't Joey - it was Johnny who was the Republican.
Joey was a staunch liberal and used to have fights - sometimes physical - with Johnny, who was a staunch conservative.

Infamous in the punk community as being one of a few conservatives, Cummings made his political affiliation known to the world in 2002, when the Ramones were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. After thanking everyone who made it possible — clad in his trademark T-shirt, ripped blue jeans and leather jacket — he said "God bless President Bush, and God bless America."<2> He said in an interview, when questioned on his conservatism, "I think Ronald Reagan was the best President of my lifetime." This was evident at least in the mid-Eighties: when the band released the UK single "Bonzo Goes to Bitburg/Go Home Ann" in 1986, Cummings pressed for a name change, finding it insulting to Ronald Reagan, and the song was retitled on American releases to "My Brain Is Hanging Upside Down (Bonzo Goes to Bitburg)" after a line from the song's chorus. In this same interview he claimed that "Punk is right wing"<3>

8. Some on the list are huge reaches
like 50 cent. He compared himself to Bush as in "no one likes me but I'll run things for 4 years" and that makes him lean to the right? That is very weak.

I'm sure there were Democratic politicans at the prayer breakfast as well that weren't on the list. I'd bet some of the "attended" the convention ones are stretches.

are the types of people Hunter Thompson wrote about in Generation of Swine. Fits them.

But I'll never be able to look at Kathy Ireland and Rachel Hunter the same again. Damn!

couldn't agree more! both miserable colossal failures and utterly despised by their peers.

Dr Phil is a model Republican. A snake-oil hocking quack who belittles people into believing his bullshit.
