Why is Jim Cramer still on the air???? |
|
Honestly I doubt anyone following his advice over the last few years can still afford cable.
So who the hell could be watching?
Couldn't MSNBC loan them a prison show to put in his place. (Where ironically many of his shilling and lying guests belong)

Too bad, I liked his show from an entertainment perspective, and he is a Dem
But yeah, he's been dead wrong too many times

2. I think most of his viewership watches him out of morbid curiosity. |
|
With all of that screaming and jumping around on camera, he might have a heart attack one day. And on that day his ratings will go through the roof.

3. I wondered what people thought about him |
|
What was he going balistic about last year. He claimed that he was trying to warn everyone about the coming financial collapse.
I'm no where near a financial expert so he confuses me.

7. Read an article recently on Economy |

that implicated him on some shady trading alliances. I can't link the article now, nor could I say the article had any truth to it. Like you, I just don't know enough to make a judgment.
I will say that I no longer have any positive feelings toward Wall St. I think insider trading was the rule for the big pockets, rather than the exception. I believe much of the market's decline is the result of corruption and theft at the highest level. Although I realize that most everyone has their future tied to the Dow financials, there are times when I almost want to see it flatline if it would ruin the big pockets, too. The real crime of it is that so many futures of ordinary people are indeed tied to the Dow. Can you imagine if Bush had succeeded in getting social security accounts thrown into that hog trough.

4. They keep him around as a sound gauge. |
|
They need an extremely loud program against which they can balance everyone else's levels.

5. I wonder what keeps him out of jail |
|
He has been tied to several pump and dump schemes in the financial press, but the government seems to treat him as a media star, so nothing is ever done about it.

6. Cramer no worse than others |
|
All TV predictions about changes in market prices are likely worthless, as likely to be wrong as right. So Cramer being wrong is no reason to think he's worse than the others. He has just been less lucky than average. He should be on TV if he gets an audience - that's the entire point of these folks - to sell commercials to viewers.

8. I miss Leonard The Wonder Monkey |
|
I don't know what happened to them but the idea of having a monkey out pick the pump and dump prick known as Jim (could I yell any louder) Cramer was just priceless. As far as I can remember Leonard never lost a stock picking contest to Cramer. http://www.24-7pressrelease.com/press-release/wonder-monkey-proves-hit-with-cramer-watchers-13914.php

9. ITS ALL ABOUT THE YELLING! |
|
AND THE POINTING! AND THE QUICK LOW-ANGLE CAMERA MOVEMENTS THAT SWITCH CONTINUOUSLY! THE SPLIT SCREENS, QUARTER SCREENS AND NEWS CRAWLERS AGAINST A BACKGROUND OF REDS, ORANGES, AND YELLOWS!
IT MAKES YOU FEEL THAT YOU ARE PART OF THE MOMENT! THAT YOU ARE A SPLIT SECOND AWAY FROM COMPLETELY CHANGING YOUR LIFE! IT'S YOU! DO YOU FEEL IT? ARE YOU WITH IT? ...you're a sucker!

11. People have to watch something. |
|
So they watch CNBC.
People are in the financial business. Everyone assumes that people on tv know what they are talking about. SO they have to know what is on tv.
