Breaking: Jennifer Aniston's first grey hair made her cry
Jennifer Aniston “flipped out” and cried when she found a grey hair. The ‘He’s Just Not That Into You’ actress - who turns 40 next week - spoke of how she freaked out: “I found a really long grey hair and it kind of flipped me out. It's not my first but it's the fact that it was so long. I was like, 'Oh that's been there. How many others are there, and what does that mean?’ It actually brought me to tears slightly.”
Since the upsetting hair incident, Jennifer is now dreading reaching her landmark birthday. She told US talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: “I have to say really, I feel better than I ever felt in my life. I did have a moment, though, over the weekend my first like huh. I don't want to turn 40.”

Let me put it to you this way - my ears are threatening to go Isaac Asimov on me. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but within 20 years, my head will probably look like a white Sasquatch if I'm not careful. Come on, Jen...

Crying over a grey hair. Sheesh.

I am so glad she really never had to worry about anything worse than that. She'd have probably opened a vein.

I was 48. Does this make me shallow, too? Women are deemed "invisible" and "untouchable" at 50.

>Still if she's this shallow, I can understand why Brad fled to coop.

Hmm. Let me see. Her husband took off with another woman. He acted like a real shit. Of course, she "deserves" this because she doesn't like finding a gray hair.

Considering the fact that her career will be pretty much over at 40 (and she had to endure her ex and his latest in her face earlier this week,) I'll give her a pass.

30. Well I didn't cry when I needed reading glasses
and I didn't cry when I saw my first grey hair. I'm enjoying the aging process - it's perfectly natural.

And why is her career over at 40 - Meryl Streep, Susan Sarandon and others have been very busy but then they're great actresses.

I don't know if he acted like a real shit. People realize they're incompatible all the time and it's better to leave before children are dragged into the mess. Those of us who are happily married are a rare breed.

Sorry Jennifer is a beautiful woman but she is tres shallow.

53. I believe her career will be over at 40 because
she doesn't have the talent Streep and Sarandon does. When an actress is over 40 I think talent takes precedence.

43. I remember seeing her in an interview when she was dating Pitt.
In an apparent attempt to seem down to earth, she said she doesn't care at all what a man looks like. She's attracted to personality.

lol, yes-- I'm sure Brad Pitt's little black book is just full of women who don't care a whit about physical appearance.

22. I've got bad news, Jen: those gray hairs aren't gonna come in nice and
straight so they can hide in amongst your other hairs, either. They are gonna come in a lot curlier than your old hair, so they will all be sticking out on top where everybody can see them. Ask me how I know.

24. Not important news, but aging is different for some
I'm not exactly a fan, but I've enjoyed her work at times and she has never annoyed me like so many other celebrities. And this isn't as trivial as an an every day grey hair. This is a person who works in an industry that is all about youth (especially for actresses). She is going to find it tougher and tougher to practice her craft. I feel bad for aging athletes too. It isn't just the wistfulness that we all feel as the years go by--some people start losing more than others at an earlier age. I'm a decade beyond Jen, but I'm actually still getting better and getting more opportunities and respect for doing what I do.

29. I love my gray hair!
I've been going gray since I was 16.
I dyed it for my wedding (and my mother!) three years ago.

Now I'm just letting it go.
It just about the full length of my hair (due for a cut soon), and I love it.
Silvery and shiny.

My grandmother's hair was completely white by the time she was 40, and I thought it was just beautiful.
I hope to get the same way!

And you know who I receive the most compliments from? Other women!

42. Gray hair is so cheap and easy to fix
Plus the gray hairs come in thicker with a slight curl. It's that sagging face that Jennifer should be worried about. Plus Hollywood is so fickle, after a few more years she won't get too many more parts unless she whores herself out. She's not a great talent like some older women working today. No doubt she's rich so I do not feel sorry for her. Take any early retirement - I wish I could.

47. We should be proud of our gray hairs.
Or as I prefer to call them, silver hairs. I've had a scattering of them since my mid-thirties; my hair is a lot darker than Jennifer's, so they actually show up. And I like them, I think they're decorative. It's all in the way you look at it. I'll be an old woman with long long silver hair one day, as testimony to tenacious survival.
