She may not be a economist or financial services genius, but she definitely cares about her constituents, and I do definitely give her enormous credit for this, and her sincerity as well.

She's a good person, and I am sorry I ridiculed her for her interview of various witnesses in the past, on this committee.

At least she is trying incredibly hard to equalize the benefits of the stimulus package. She's doing the right thing, and I was being pompous with I criticized her. She deserves my respect, and I give it to her.

She has served one of the poorest districts in Los Angeles County with dedication and true progressiveness for many years. She may not be as educated as the other representatives but she's a far better person and legislator than many of them.
