Schumer, Burris, Durbin, and Bunning - a comparison.

Schumer may be patting himself on his back regarding his framing of the stimulus package as one in all, and not a la carte. But, I'll bet that every single GOP governor is secretly breathing a huge sigh of relief. He gave them just enough cover so their posturing does not damage them. Too much.

Burris? Obtuse is not the only word that fits. It is embarrassing, no? an ego the size of a 747 and the situational understanding of a gnat. So sad that Blago did this to us. He must be enjoying the sideshow tremendously.

Durbin. Heck, he tried. He really did. He made an appointment with Roland from Monday. Burris cancelled it. He caught up to him and got a virtual slap in the face. Durbin is the #2 guy in the senate. Burris is not only obtuse, he is rude, and really really shortsighted.

Luckily, Jim Bunning is around to provide endless comic relief. He wants to SUE the NRSC? LOL! As the Farside once said, "Oh PLEEZE, Oh PLEEZE, Oh PLEEZE!"
