3. i have no problem with that, but NCLB is a disaster
see, the UK and Germany test their kids to national standards and provide with world class education

So does Japan by the way

Only the top 25% or so.

"Accountability" is a code for "blame all social ills -- poverty, racism, poor funding -- on the teachers."

and I am all for testing kids, but the exchange for that is a world class education

This is not what they are getting right now

Not the top 25%

Or the bottom 75%

Perhaps the top 2%
