I heard somewhere that many small business owners file on their own income form. Would a "Frank's Dry Cleaning" who takes in 300,000 but has costs of 240,000 still fall in the no raised taxes category?

I will give you a real-world example...in one year I had total receipts of $168,000, and deductible expenses of $54,000, so I was taxed on $114,000.

I'd be pissed if I was in any one of our Soldiers shoes right now and especially if I was in Iraq or Afghanistan because I know full well that if I was captured I would be tortured. I was part of the teaching team at the Navy's S.E.R.E. training camp at Warner Springs Ca. from early '68 through mid '69 so I am well aware of what the implications of us having a torture program ourselves is. dick and w need to be hanged for that alone.
