13. Thanks. Since it was Brooks you were speaking of...
...it wasn't safe to assume who he'd pan.

24. Check out Nate Silver

<snip>
10:29 EST (Nate): If it sounds like Jindal is targeting his speech to a room full of fourth graders, that's because he is. They might be the next people to actually vote for Republicans again.

28. I think Mr. Silver is underestimating the problems of the republican party.
I know it was just a joke, but some of today's 4th graders will be eligible to vote in 2016. And I honestly think Obama's presidency is the beginning of a 30 year trend to the left in this country. The next republican voters haven't even been born yet.

17. they believe in the jingle of coin in the own back pocket -- jingles (as much humanity as they can
muster) - flesh, blood, bone, human creatitivy and love of life, nadda

just a sad pathetic jingle - a pathetic lot that would make Dickinson's pre-Christmas eve Scrounge blush -- but not these turdblossoms -- not so long as Defense Contractors rattle their chains to remind them of their real calling -- jingles, jingles

29. And therein lies the beauty.
It's one of their own. This isn't Keith Olbermann saying it, it's David Fucking Brooks, right-wing cheerleader extraordinaire. If he can smell the fail, the odor has become overpowering and undeniable.

14. Like Howard Dean said on MSNBC:
Jindal and the 'official wing of the GOP' are playing to the 15% of the population that is hard-right.

There's no way they're going to win future elections if they're not speaking to 85% of the American public.

Keep talkin', Bobby! :applause:
