Lousy speech wasn't Jindal's fault.
It was simply a matter of forced poor perception. According to Kiran Chetny of CNN Jindal didn't have an equal venue, he wasn't in a huge room surrounded by an adoring crowd to applaud and cheer. So it's no wonder that his speech seemed so stinky.

Gack.

3. Newsflash for Kiran
Elections have consequences. That was why President Obama got to address a joint session of Congress in the Capitol while Governor Jindal got to address a camera in the Louisiana governor's mansion.

4. His speech was fucking pre-recorded.
They didn't think it was important enough so they pre-recorded it.

7. He spoke like he was telling kindergartners about looking both ways
when they cross the street. I couldnt have asked for a more surreal presentation, and all the excuses made by GOP pundits will heighten my laughter even more.

9. Nor was he in a room with over 200 people avowed to bring him down
Just about half of the people in the room, Republicans all, as President Obama spoke would have far prefered he had never existed and averse to any and near all of his programs.

11. Does the idiot Kiran realize that the Democrats had the same type of venue
when a Republican has been president? Does the idiot realize that the Democrats did not complain about their venue and were happy with their selected individuals giving the response?

12. I think "applaud and cheer" would have been more like "boo loudly and throw tomatoes at."
Seriously, invoking the Katrina disaster. Even the Republicans would have winced. They don't want anyone remembering that. Who the hell wrote that speech?

14. Britt Hume tried that too. And then he actually told a truth....
"With that being said" then he said something like it was a really weak performance.
