Jindal is Toast
I saw this front paged on Daily Kos. It was obvious last night that Jindal lied about the Katrina story. Now we have the sheriff's version from 2005. Bye bye, Bobby.

LEE: I fully believe that when then matter is looked into, we tried to get some boats in the water early on ... Those boats where not allowed to get into the water when they were needed and I just found out about seven days later one of the reason boats couldn't get in was they didn't have enough life preservers and some of them didn't have proof of insurance.

1. I never understood this.
I don't understand what politicians fail to understand about fact checking.

2. Jindal is magic
See, he knows the reason for things even before there's a reason for things. Look for a song parody coming soon.

12. No, you got his last name wrong. It's not "Jindal", it's "Jingo"...
His first name is Bobby. That's his right and individual freedom to change it; I don't care why.

But what he says; "Jingo" is too perfect. It also happens to be a real word, hence its perfection.

5. When you have to try to once again convince Americans that
Conservative Economic Fundamentalism is the only way to go---
Wow this is an impossible assignment when most Americans realize
this put us in the ditch.

GOP still believe appearances are what count. Advising Gyndahl to
be "folksy" and nice( therefore the Media will think you are a
Moderate and therefore the party is changing)--anyway, A FOLKSY
Jyndhl flopped. An absolute disconnect between the personality
and the hard edged rhetoric.

Yes there are between 20 to 25% rank and file GOPers who may agree
with the Far Right philosophy. This means 75% to 80% of Americans
have walked away. It takes more than a person with a nice personality
to convince Americans to keep digging in the same old empty hole.
Conservative Economic Fundamentalism is missing the boat.

6. They know only one song. Sen. Chuck Grassley (D-IA) was on public radio this morning explaining
how capital gains taxes need to be cut to create jobs.

Right, Chuck, cutting taxes for the wealth-grabbing class has worked so well so far -- I'm sure reducing the capital gains tax rate below 15% will do the trick this time.

11. Don't.
He's a Republican unworthy of the name; spouting the usual memes and cant. You may as well feel sorry for Rush Limbaugh too. (If everybody did what he does for a "living", we'd all be millionaires and then Michelle "U.S. is Running Out of Rich People!" Bachmann could find something else to whine about too.)
