MSNBC is looking into Tweety's "Oh, God" utterance from last night
MSNBC's Chris Matthews quietly uttered "Oh God" as Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal prepared to give the Republican Party response to President Barack Obama's speech to Congress. An NBC executive, who requested anonymity because the network is still looking into the matter, named Matthews as the one who made the live mike slip - it was so quiet most listeners wouldn't be able to identify the speaker.

The Huffington Post posted a link to the comment and asked viewers to guess Wednesday who had made it: 32 percent had guessed Matthews, 35 percent said it was co-anchor Keith Olbermann, 15 percent said it was an MSNBC camera operator and 18 percent thought it was a producer.

MSNBC had no immediate comment.

10. And I think it was spontaneous and genuine. Jindall's "grand entrance"
was strange and Opie like. Then he opened his mouth to speak. One of my favorite parabals: better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

6. If it was just before Jindal's speech, it was probably when they got the copy for the rebuttal.
They don't have much room to complain about his statement. If it had been me, reading that tripe, they might have had to bleep it.

7. MSNBC is not an unbiased network, it's not as left-wing as Faux News is right-wing...

but it's always trying. I don't know why they'd be looking into this knowing that. Now, that said, I laughed my ass off just hearing other DUers talking about it, because that's what everyone was thinking. I mean, Jindal is just such a nerd, I wouldn't be surprised if he received more than a few swirlies.

9. I believe the utterance was from God himself
Sort of like when you make a big mistake and make an exclamation using your name.
