When all else fails when shoe shopping, either for myself, daughter or a granddaughter, we can find something at Dillards. It's a pretty handy store to have close by, a little something of everything!

Edit: Ok, just read other posts here and decided that I don't live in a fashion capitol!

2. That's not even that great of a sale from what I've seen at other stores.
That ad is essentially a special discount on clearance items. Kohl's has been known to do up to 80% off clearance. Macy's will do 75% off original price on clearance. So 40% off clearance isn't all that surprising.

4. Will not be missed... a nasty store. Some good shoes...in past..but all China like
everywhere else.

In it's market area...Belks beats them.

7. They've been doing this for a few years.
It's normally 30% off - that's when I do my shopping each season. I hope they don't go out of business - that's the only decent place we have around here. Macy's is terrible.

8. I couldn't care less. When they closed the store downtown, effectively
decimating an historic shopping district in the quest of bigger profits in the burbs, I said to hell with them.
