It was held on a warm spring day and the whole campus turned out. I was there a few decades ago, but I think they still do it.

3. Wow...that takes me back... 20+ years ago...
Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah...I'm old!!!

But remember-- you can't grow shade on the corn!!!

I do remember the Quad fondly-- it was pretty stereotypical in terms of a college campus, but that's what worked for me back then.

I remember the anti-Apartheid Shanty towns and that nasty trek from Oglesby hall in the Winter....

4. As far as I know, nope
I'm a grad student, and an engineer, so I'm not sure I'd be "in the know." I don't know if it was around when you were here, but Unofficial St. Patrick's Day is big now.

From what I hear, something like hash Wednesday occurs at UC-Boulder, though.

6. 3rd Wednesday in April every year
for the whole campus. If everyone does it, nobody gets arrested.

8. Ah The Memories...
A group of us would roadtrip from all over the state to party...usually right before Spring break. Now I can't give you any details, cause I really can't remember much. Many brain cells were lost.

In the 90's, they revived Hash Wednesday as a party in Chicago during May...and the CPD actually tolerated it for a couple years...I haven't seen anything about it in the past decade. Too bad. Those were fun times.
