Lawsuit blames exploding toilet on rail line work
A South Seattle man has sued Sound Transit, saying work on a light rail line caused a toilet he was inspecting to explode.

According to the lawsuit filed in King County Superior Court, Edmond Okolie was inspecting a leaky toilet at an adult-care facility on South Holden Street when the commode exploded in November 2006.

Riding a geyser of raw sewage, the toilet slammed into Okolie and knocked him to the floor, Okolie's attorney said in court documents. The sewage, the attorney asserted, "overwhelmed him and spread to all rooms of the basement."

Sounds like a prety shitty situation. It also brings to mind some lyrics from the Frank Zappa song "Flakes".

Our toilet went crazy yesterday afternoon.
The plumber he said,"Never flush a tampoon."
This great information cost me half a week's pay.
And the toilet blew up later on the next day.
