That's all. I just like typing it, saying it, reading it, hearing it, knowing it.

4. It's about time America gets to see the human loss in this war
It will be interesting to see whether or not the M$M decides to create their own news blackout on this issue.

They complained when they were not allowed to show the coffins. Now they'll probably make up their own excuse for not showing them.

7. When will they show in situ, uncensored battlefield KIA's?
Hell, in WW2, such images were being shown in popular the American press by the time of the Buna landings.

Yet here we are, into the Bush/Obama wars twice as long as WW2 and still the fragile American public must be shielded from the graphic reality of war.

13. The Bush/Obama wars? Is it also the Bush/Obama failed economy?
Or did Obama inherit both the wars AND the economy?

9. About time. The ban was about not letting Americans see/dwell upon costs of war
The neocons were all about waving flags and pretend patriotism. By hiding the dead's homecomings, their true nature exposed them as the troop hating, unpatriotic bastards they are.

You can't support the troops without honoring the dead among them and letting them remind us of the real cost of war.

10. This news has given me a lump in my throat
I just saw Kevin Bacon in Taking Chance and cried in various parts of it. The thing that made me cry is where the people along the journey home realize what Kevin Bacon's character is doing. It's like they all suddenly had a bucket of freezing water poured on them as they're brought face to face with a casualty of the war. It's an exellent movie, and I'm very glad they will no longer sneak our life giving patriots in the dead of night.

George Bush, you and all your administration and family can go to Hell. Even if you never pay the price of your crimes in this life, may you pay it either in Hell or in the next life or what passes as the after life.

11. This is good. Leave it up to the families.
A reasonable posture and one that honors those most affected.
