This looks pretty clear. A fight between the big time haves - and those

who want to lift up all Americans who have been left behind. I've watched a few news programs today (watched Newshour just now), read lots of blogs - and, surprise, surprise - those who have benefitted from Bush and are rolling in the dough are saying pretty much "F($K You, Obama, Leave your hands off of our money. We don't give a shit about anyone else but us". Just watched Judy Woodruff pretty much refuse to acknowledge the facts - that the tax rise on the rich doesn't click in until 2011. She just kept throwing questions like "how can you raise taxes in this crisis? How can you take this and that away during a crisis?" Orszag had to correct her again and again.

I just don't believe that everyone in the media is as stupid and rock headed as they are coming off. They are all in that rich category, and they are joining in the fight. Against Obama.

So this is it. Obama is finally taking it all on. A battle for the ages - a battle for fairness. Wow. Pretty big time shit in progress right now!

1. You are right, I kept hearing "big government is back" and "tax increases
that will stifle small business" all freakin day.

The republics will pull everything they have out of the closets. Let them rail into the wind.

4. At last ... CLASS WARFARE !!! With the have-nots actually fighting back!

We've been on the losing end of this fight for 30 years and
it's about time we started pushing back! I'm sick of the
Repugs turning up their noses and using the "class warfare"
argument to silence anyone who points out the unprecedented
economic inequality in this country ... Yet now that they
feel they may have to pay CLOSER to their fair share, who
do we hear whining?

ON EDIT: And what kills me is that now some people who
make around $250K are having to come to grips with the
fact that they're ... RICH! All this time they've been
focusing on Bill Gates and all the people ABOVE THEM,
without realizing that if you make $250K, that puts you
in a pretty high percentile of the country. You can hear
them whining, "What? I'M NOT RICH! Look at that guy ... "
Always aware of what they DON'T have, not appreciative of
WHAT THEY DO HAVE and how many people have LESS than them.
