14. NO WAY!
A headline about Republican disunity? Rachel knows precisely what she is doing by saying that, and that is that the popular media like their stories nice and predictable. Democrats are the party that fractures or fights among themselves; Republicans are the party that's always together, fighting as one. To apply the word "disarray" to Republicans is to completely invert the usual media narrative and will surely lead to discombobulation among the Villagers.

6. Shuster was talking about Jindal's speech and the republican reaction to it.
Specifically, he was talking about Rush's criticism of those who are criticizing Jindal. He asked some Republican strategist woman on her opinion of the "Republican Civil War".

5. And how about that one woman's assessment of what happened to Jindal...
She said something like - The Republicans were looking for someone to lead them out of the wilderness. Jindal couldn't do it and they turned on him.

Yikes.

8. did
you see the Wall Street Journal writer (the one who pissed and moaned about the Bush tax cuts expiring) who said that the conservatives are turning to Joe the Plumber because he talks like a "real American"? WTF?!

13. Yes. She was a self-inflated, condescending, smarmy piece of shit.
She CLEARLY regards herself as "exceptional" (a member of the ruling elite) and the 'average American' as an idiot barely capable of comprehending channel numbers. People usually grow out of that kind of narcissism before they reach adulthood. She failed.

10. In the spirit of bipartisanship, I'll sell ammunition to both sides.
The Republic Party is circling the drain.

No message.
No leader.
No direction.

12. Even the Freepers are turning on each other....
It's usually ditto city over there, but since Obama's speech and the Jindal weirdness they've been at each others' throats. Much fun to watch.

16. The Romney wing vs. the Anyone-Else wing
The half that hate Willard keep flailing about for a standard-bearer, but the Palins and the Piyushys keep falling flat.
