There was a massive propaganda assault against Kelley's book before it even went to press. Consequently, many people, even people on the left, pooh-poohed it as trash.

I read the book and it was far from trash. I found it well researched and well written. It's well worth a read.

14. The newsmedia trashed Kelley and her book that fall to protect Bush before 2004 election.

The corporate media gave more attention and credibility to the Swiftliars with NO PROOF than they did to Kelley's book which had plenty of records and witnesses to back up her charges.

Larry King refused to interview her on his show for that book, though she'd been on his show many times as an expert n some topics and for her other books. King claimed he didn't want to ruin his close friendship with GHWBush.

We humans think that reasoning and free will give us some protection from becoming the likes of Bush gang, but there is some rationale, that like in less evolved species that depend on instinctive behavior for survival, multi-generational imprinting begets a subclass of Homo Sapiens that is born to destroy for personal financial and power gain.

My father's first and middle names were Herbert & Walker. Figured there was a connection. Odder that my father despised Prescott Bush so much that I learned to do so from him. My father lived past 1970, so he saw GHW Bush become CIA head and despised GHW as well.

Why was my father's first and middle names as they were? I had not thought to ask my Dad when he was alive but learned the answer from my uncle last summer.

Their father, my grandfather, was born on a farm in Missouri and was also named Herbert and Walker. I learned that my greatgrandfather and his wife were sharecropping the land owned by Herbert Walker, Missouri banker and carpetbagger, where my grandfather was born (in the 1880s). This was the same land originally owned by my ancestors but taken from them by the carpetbagger who is ancestor to the current batch of Bushes. I imagine naming my Grandfather after Herbert Walker was to satisfy some debt or obligation.

Reasons enough to hate the Bushes, I suppose. But now I have thirty years of reasons to hate them on my own.
