CPAC is SO funny this year
In prior years, we watched with disgust and horror at just how ugly the guys in charge were.

Now it's just pathetic. They're out of power, marginalized and despised by the majority of the public and they still don't have a clue as to why.

They honestly think it's because they haven't been rightwing enough. They believe that McCain became and moderate and that's why he was rejected. They're completely oblivious to the fact that by pandering to the jackass wing of the GOP, McCain obliterated whatever remaining credibility and maverick image he had left.

And they're looking to the future by trotting out Sam-the-tax-evading-fake-plumber!

They're discredited andnot coming back anytime soon. They're anything but scary now.

Its kind of like the end of the movie "Labyrinth," where the lovely Jennifer Connelly tells the Goblin King, "You have no power over me."

That's how it feels for all of us sane Americans.

"I'm still convinced America wants to like us. They want to vote for us. It's when we lose our competence that the American people lose their confidence."
-- Mike "The Huckster" Huckabee, from today at CPAC
