Boeing Engineers Were Killed in Turkish Airlines Crash
Source: Times Online

Boeing said that two of its engineers were among the nine people killed when a Turkish Airways flight crashed on its approach to Schiphol airport in Amsterdam.

A third engineer was among the injured and the company was still “awaiting notification” on the fate of a fourth engineer. There were reports, however, that three of Boeing’s employees had died in the crash.

Boeing said that the four engineers from its Seattle base were returning home on the ill-fated Boeing 737-800 flight after working on jets for the Turkish military.

Boeing denied that the presence of the engineers had anything to do with the technical problem the aircraft suffered two days before it crashed. Turkish Airlines said that the plane had flown eight times since a faulty master caution light was successfully replaced.

The 737 from Istanbul to Amsterdam had 134 people on board when it plummeted to the ground on Wednesday morniing.

Jim McNerney, Boeing chairman and chief executive, said: “This is a very sad day for our company. Our thoughts and prayers are with our colleagues’ families, friends and co-workers and with the families of everyone who was on the flight.”

Boeing has identified the four engineers on board the flight as Michael Hemmer, Ronald Richey, John Salman and Ricky Wilson. The company is flying relatives of the men to Holland to confirm their identities.

Reports in Seattle said that Mr Hemmer was in critical condition in hospital. A family friend told KOMO News that Mr Hemmer had undergone surgery and that his wife, Shirley, and his brother were being flown to Amsterdam to see him.

FOUR engineers from the company that designed/built the plane with reported problems

2 dead, one critical and one missing?

I'd have a SWAT team guarding the survivor . . .

2. It does perk up my ears.
9 dead. 5 crew members, likely 3 engineers. All but one person were 'working' on the flight. Very suspicious. I guess it could just be where they were seated?

4. "I guess it could just be where they were seated?" - do YOU believe that?
.
.
.

I don't

and I suspect many others do not either . . .

After what the USA has done for the last century, especially the last 8 years under Dim Son

it is not unreasonable for the regular person to suspect our Government's motives

Dim-Son forgot about the internets - and how much information is immediately available worldwide

BUT HE STILL GOT AWAY WITH IT!!

dayyummmmmm
