1. Good! I hope like crazy that she's the candidate in '12. |
|
Also, I can't imagine a better thing happening, also. She'll be losin', also.

2. Good. She'll lose horribly if that's what she runs on. |

By far and away Americans are for choice.
Where do you stand on the issue?

7. I believe the OP is suggesting that the only constituency behind Sarah Palin in 2012... |
|
...will be the religious nutballs. And I think that assessment is just about right.

8. Palin's also likely to do well among the hard-core gun nuts |
|
Sarah Palin's also likely to do well among the Republican Party's hard-core gun nuts (automatic rifles for everyone without background checks and cop-killer bullets for sale with no restrictions) and also the pro-development anti-land use regulation and anti-environmentalist crowd.

6. Two Other Possibilities... |

I shouldn't be surprised if South Carolina's Jim DeMint decides that he is da man who is going to take the White House away from President Obama. For that matter, my state has a less-than-really popular governor named Rick Perry who only won the Texas gubernatorial election by a plurality of 39%. He wanted to be the Republican Veep so bad last year that you can still smell traces of it around Austin.

10. We couldn't be that lucky |

She has enough ego to run but the primaries would weed her out. Some Alaskans I know, inclined to like her, are changing their mind about her. Of the repub constituency, half would take a bullet for her, the other half would rather move on. She is now polarizing the gopers. Most Alaskans, including myself, didn't know her well when McCain picked her. Her half interest in the job she has now is still turning people off. The disillusionment for some is just taking a little longer.
