A great "Twitter" about CPAC |
|
Mike Madden (Salon.com's Washington Correspondent):
"Ron Paul just got applause at #CPAC for complaining about U.S. involvement in World War I."

Actually, join me at Shitter.com. There, we throw "shits" at each other. "Shits" are 30 character strings, which require an adjective that relates to smell to be included in each one.
"CNN is rotten today"
"What a rancid idea"
"Intellectualism is decomposing"

common denominator in our society, and watering down culture & information even further than the conventional media (which has, for the most part, hijacked it anyway). Fortunately, amidst all the "tweets" (which I would hardly mistake as a valuable exchange of information), there is at least a lot of money to be made from ad revenue. So while you are all a twittering (or rather, proving exactly how fucking stupid you can strive to be), you can rest assured that at least some people are making a mint off it all.

Because after all, you are defending Twitter, a medium of anti-intellectualism. I am giving it too much respect by telling it to merely 'fuck off'. I owe it no explanation, nor could I condense one into the maximum amount of characters anyway. Good fucking riddance Twitter. Die already.

I feel no obligation at all to control or tailor my emotions when talking about such a piece of shit service (Twitter), the piece of shits bits of "information" on it (Tweets), and the idiots that use it (Tweeters). I feel rather emotionally liberated, to be honest.
I should buy one of those "Tweakers Suck" bumper stickers and take a marker to it.

and that many liberal groups have used it to promote liberal causes and candidate, we've got Luddites like you who hate it simply because it exists and you don't understand it. There's no difference between you and the 1950's conservatives who were telling us how Rock and Roll music was going to be the death of American values.
This OP is a perfect example. Here's some Ron Paul conservatives out there exposing what clueless buttholes they are, and your response is to attack the medium used to expose it.

Edited on Fri Feb-27-09 08:31 PM by Oregone
Prove that I don't understand it. Its not that complicated. In fact, its probably the least complicated web 2.0 deal to come around in a while, and that attributes to a bit of its popularity. News anchors like Rick Sanchez master it, and my feeble mind cannot even grasp this piece of shit medium? Are you kidding me?
"your response is to attack the medium used to expose it"
Yes, and I will continue to attack this piece of shit service. Im elated to finally find something I can attack without using tact, intelligence, or proper english. Despite all my failings while hating Twitter, I still feel entirely too superior to stoop to ever using it, much less browsing it.
Even Jack Bauer thinks its inhuman to make his hostages read Twitter. Im not about to get on that train.
