Friday Night Lights

President Obama ends his first fullmonth in office today with a foreign policy speech detailing his plans to (finally) draw down troops in Iraq by August 2010. That will be seven plus years after the illegal invasion and occupation began. You keep the new arrivals in the bedroom for a few day, and allow the new arrivals to smell the oldies, and vice versa.

Then, when you let them out, things are easier.

But the unique thing that I do is to yell, "Look, this is the way it is. I don't give a crap about genetics, development, or anything else! You're gonna get along. If you must kill each other, do it very quietly!"

Alice is hiding and Freddie won't come out of her carrier. I have a feeling the transition will be kinda bumpy, I just hope they'll eventually feel at home here.

55. Yes. We brought their toys and their bankee. Also, they spent the last few

days in Mr. smokey's childhood bedroom, we put them in there to keep them contained (it was their safe room when they were kittens). Mr. smokey's mom had a pair of pants folded on the bed in there; Freddie was laying on them whenever we went into the room to feed them and give them lovin'. I put those pants in the carrier before we put Freddie in there.
