We've seen this happen before. |
|
Since the GOP thinks that Obama's new spending plans, and his new budget that'll increase taxes on those making $250,000 or more will hurt the economy even more and increase the deficit even more, think again. Back in 1993, when Bill Clinton came into office, he proposed the same kind of budget, and as usual, the GOP used their fear-mongering to get you to think that you'll be taxed instead of the wealthiest 2%. But we won't see any improvement until the government starts to cut the spending on the wars in Iraq and Afganistan. THAT'S WHAT'S INCREASED THE DEFICIT, AND THAT'S WHAT HAS REALLY HURT THE ECONOMY OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS!!! AND THE GOP HAS BEEN ON THAT BANDWAGON TO SPEND TRILLIONS IN A USELESS WAR IN IRAQ, AND YET THOSE IDIOTS HAVE THE NERVE TO SAY THAT IT'S THE DEMS WHO ARE THE BIG SPENDERS. THAT'S BS!!!

2. Yeah, Obama is setting the record straight by putting the war spending |
|
back into the budget for proper accounting and planning. The GOP hasn't recognized what the war spending was doing to the nation's economy.

3. It'll take a few years until the war really starts to settle down, but it'll be worth it. |
