Want a free meal?
http://www.kashi.com/picturehunt

They make great bars and I have only tried one of their frozen meals before but liked it. I saw a comercial for this and thought Id share it cause I know budgets are tight... if anything its a free lunch or dinner for a single person.

1. I did that the other day
I've never had any of their frozen entrees - I don't normally eat stuff like that.

But the selection looks GREAT, and the price certainly is right!

Good on you for posting this!!!

:toast:

3. They are really good.
And it looks as if they have expanded their selection.

5. I eat their bars every day
They are really good. I had one of their frozen meals for lunch a bit ago and liked it - it's mostly whole foods with good fiber. I'm not sure if the company is left leaning but I get that impression despite them being from La Jolla ;)

8. LOL - I just remembered something from my time in SanDee
.
.
.

I'm mechanic, automobile repair was how I made my living during my stay there in 1979-80

Much of my work was done around National City Blvd. and La Jolla

Go with me on this phonetically

it took me 4 months to find out that La Jolla and "La Hoya" were the same street/place!

Boy - did those Californians ever have fun teasing me on that one!

It's -30 Celsius up here - and I sorta miss Black's Beach/Gilder's Point right now . .

(sigh)

11. They have really expanded
I first became aware of them in 1998 when I found their 7-grain pilaf. Yummy alternative to hot cereal (which I find kind of disgusting). They have continued (mostly ) along the same line - whole foods with good fiber and minimal processing. I like their frozen meals - and my teenage daughter who is vegetarian and fond of whole grains does as well.

2. Thanks!
I just signed up for a coupon. Those entrees look interesting. It's going to be hard to choose!

9. My breakfast every morning
Is a Kashi cereal bar, and I just bought a Spinach and Mushroom frozen pizza for hubby last night - he loved it. Kashi is good stuff.

10. Oh the irony - Kashi is a Kellogs company.
Today Kashi is on the greatest page for their fine (and free) products.

A couple days ago Kellogs was on the greatest page for being a bad company deserving of our ire and deserving to be boycotted.

Thanks for the link though. I can use that! :)
