Was there a "tea party" in your city yesterday?

There was a small one here in St. Louis, the bitterly cold weather probably kept a lot of the wingnuts away. It seemed like a hate on the poor (or anyone who would benefit from the stimulus) gathering from what I saw.

These people are barking up the wrong tree, they really should be taking their rage up to Wall St. and taking it out on who really started all this mess.

And no, there, was no tea party in my city yesterday because -- even though Australians follow US politics pretty closely -- they don't get excited enough to protest. The demonstrations have been covered in the local media, under the heading of "Even though Obama is a superstar, some Americans don't get it."

I'd also like say that I'm one of those folks looking at increased taxes under Obama and I don't mind a bit. I've been undertaxed (compared to the citizens of any other developed country) for years.

8. Pfffffft...What A Joke

The other day, I think it was Nora The White Ho who interviewed the "organizer" of this thing from Philly...a black repugnican (do they store these guys in a warehouse somewhere? I never see them in my real world). He kept wailing about how the "good people" who own homes were being punished by the "bail-out". Nora then asks him about his neighborhood...ala Santelli...and this dude admits he lives in an apartment. :rofl:

Most those asshats wish they were smart enough to earn 200 or 250k a year...or probably think if they do the rich's dirty work, they'll trickle down on them. Fools.
