Joe The Domestic Terrorist?
from ThinkProgress:

Exclusive: Joe the Plumber suggests some members of Congress should be shot.

On Wednesday, Joe “the Plumber” Wurzelbacher said that if he were in Congress, he would “probably be in jail” because he’d be charged with “slapping some member.” He added, “And that’s not (bull) either.” ThinkProgress asked Joe at CPAC yesterday which members he would most like to slap. “Pretty much anybody that’s stood there and said anything bad about our troops, pretty much anybody who sat there and talked treasonous talk about America,” Joe said. He then implied that some members of Congress should be shot:

Back in the day, really, when people would talk about our military in a poor way, somebody would shoot ‘em. And there’d be nothing said about that, because they knew it was wrong. You don’t talk about our troops. You support our troops. Especially when our congressmen and senators sit there and say bad things in an ongoing conflict.

Of course, politicians aren’t the only ones Joe thinks should be banned from speaking about war. Last month, he said that journalists shouldn’t “be anywhere allowed war.” “I think media should be abolished from, uh, you know, reporting,” he said.

......

Update: ThinkProgress also asked Joe about his recent trip to Israel. Wurzelbacher repeated his claim that Obama’s victory means “death to Israel.” He also seemed to say that there is no such thing as a Palestinian. Watch the video here.

1. So Joe, you want to try and slap me? Let me word that another way Joe.
You want to get your ass kicked around the block any day of the week and twice on Sundays. Well, as your hero Bushboy said, "bring it on".

The fact that this dumbfuck actually gets traction in our society just shows how low certain parts of our society has sunk.

2. Well what would he have done in the Viet Nam era?
Edited on Sat Feb-28-09 09:53 AM by Why Syzygy
Perhaps a suicide bomber at a peace rally?

ETA: Censorship. Forget the free press.
Exactly WTF does he think soldiers are (allegedly) fighting for?

I think he has fevered brain. Toast.

7. You mean in Congress?
I haven't a clue. I think it is a freeper red herring. I cannot imagine an elected official bad mouthing the troops.

Maybe he's talking about President Obama's plan to withdraw troops

3. In one way, you've really got to hand it to this knuckle dragger
He's managed to stretch out his 15 minutes longer than any inconsequential twit in American history.

There are many people who are famous for being famous (e.g. Paris Hilton). But this guy has to be a first for being famous for being infamous. He's a perfect candidate to be stuffed by a taxidermist and put on display in the George W. Bush Library.

6. Back in what day is he talking about?
Edited on Sat Feb-28-09 10:30 AM by Generic Other
Holy crap. Is he serious? Back in the day when a Palestinian kid could get shot for throwing rocks at a Israeli soldier? Back in the day when Irish Catholic kids got shot by the English for taunting them or hurling bricks? Back in the day when nuns and priests went to jail for scaling the walls of the School of Americas to protest our policy of training Latin American terrorists? Back in the day when South American mothers were shot for asking where their husbands and sons had disappeared to under the various corrupt juntas in power? Back in the day when college students were shot in Tiananmen Square or at Kent State? Back in the day when Crispus Attucks was murdered by Redcoats in the Boston Massacre for protesting British oppression? Back in the day when the Bonus Army was driven out of Washington DC by the military because they had come to ask for help for veterans? Back in the day when the Tsar's cossacks shot Russian citizens who were begging for bread? Back in the day when third world tyrants killed, maimed, raped, terrorized citizens because they had guns and soldiers at their command? Back in the days of Nazi Germany when college students were shot for posting anti-Nazi graffiti?

Back in the day! Indeed. It is still that day! The people do not forget the crimes. Justice delayed means that crimes against humanity simply compound interest for a day of reckoning. When the people turn against their overlords, that's why it always so ugly. Their rage covers so many crimes. The anger spills over centuries. And the lackeys go down with the state.

Joe the lackey is a brainless fascist airhead. The only slapping that needs to be done in this case is slapping a bit of sense into that bald halfwit's empty head.

A song about remembering whose side the working man should be on (listen here):

Betray your country
serve your class
don't sign up for war, my friend...
