Rick Sanchez had on Gingrey, who is a senator, i guess.... he opposes

a single payer plan. he spouted the lies about long waits and how the canadians don't like their health care system. well, he didn't look happy when sanchez introduced the other guest... a woman who used to live and work in NYC in a hospital i guess who now lives in Canada and works in the health care system. she totally debunked what gingrey said. she talked about how the wealthy got the best care and everyone else stood in long lines etc. and how in canada everyone is treated the same. gingrey's response was that if he knew that sanchez was going to have 'testimonial' he would have brought some of his canadian friends to tell how awful the canadian system is.

I laughed. gingrey didn't seem happy. See, i wonder if these guys realize that this is a lot different times than 15, 20 years ago. we have something called the internet and we can talk to people in canada and europe and hear how it is for ourselves. we don't need to hear the lies from guys like gingrey to scare us away from a single payer plan.

from what gingrey said, it is quite obvious to me who funds his campaign coffers. he wants a system where the government basically pays into the healthcare that the health care companies have now. so the health care companies can make big money. hmmm.... who benefits from that???

Go to the Federal Election Commission Web site at , search for him and you will find lots of PAC money from drug companies and others in the health care industry who want to keep the current system in place.
