Major companies do not shut down customer service for "informative meetings".

Some major shit is going down.

2. In my experience in corporate call centers that means layoffs.

The only other time we shut a phone queue down was when one of the people who worked there died unexpectedly. I'm kinda doubting the latter in this case.

6. Interesting

This happened to me when I had this VOIP service called SunRocket. I had no incoming phonecalls for days, when I tried to make outgoing ones I couldn't. I used my cell to call customer service it said they were busy no one ever answered!! Couple days later I found out they had turned out the lights w/o telling anyone. Not even their employees.

it's insolvent. Interesting to see what happens.
