I've never watched a basketball game on tv, and never sat through a whole game live,

except when I had to play during PE in high school.

Which wasn't exactly "sitting through." ;)

I DID play the March Madness pool at my former place of employment. Basketball fans approached me eagerly, greedy for my $5 to boost the pot, and I picked names based on whether I liked the name or the place, or not.

I never won. With that in mine, I'll pick Oklahoma.

16. I'll go with the Tarheels. Villanova pulled out a 2-pt squeaker over Pitt.

I think UNC is a better team, with more depth, than Pitt.

UNC is my alma mater and I'm a long-time fan, so I'd love to see them win. Villanova plays . . . not rough, but at least very physically. They humiliated Duke (not that there's anything wrong with that :) ). Looking forward to seeing what happens Saturday.

19. I personally think Duke humiliated themselves in that game.

Villanova came to play and Duke was flat. 'Nova built a lead and Duke just gave up any pretense of "teamwork." 'Nova was pumped with adrenalin ... high on the prospect of taking out the "national champion" (sans players from that team). I don't think it was training, conditioning, or discipline ... just a high. I just don't see them doing that against UNC.
