Wouldn't bother me if they would give Ed the heave ho and let David Shuster have that hour.

1. Im just the opposite
I find Schuster's attempts to be funny wears on my nerves as he isnt naturally a funny guy.

At least Ed doesnt try so hard to be something he isnt.

3. After bad production team for 1600, now unfair to go against upcoming Leno at 10:00.

6. Schultz is a bloviator Schuster is a thinker
Problem is that we need both styles. Some people don't relate to Thinkers yet we still need to get through to them.

8. I like David, but he pretty much just reads the script.

Ed has a personality which will attract people who don't realize that they are liberals to our side.

Also, Shuster was getting terrible ratings on 1600.

9. Something's wrong with Schultz's style -
I find myself waiting for him to follow up on (mostly) the crap that the GOPig Of The Day on his show has just bleated, but he doesn't. He goes to the next thing, or lets someone else say something, and, consequently, these rightwingnuts get a platform where they're not challenged as they should be by the moderator.

He falls flat, and it's like I'm left waiting for something that never happens. Very uncomfortable, and that's another reason why I've quit watching Ed. And I wanted so much to like his show.

Actually, Shuster was getting better, and I was giving him a second chance, after his massive fuckups on the "Karl Rove Has Been Secretly Indicted" fiasco of a few years ago ...........................

11. Yeah, me too.
I haven't gotten used to (or warmed up to) Ed yet.

I never heard his radio show, so I don't have any "history" with him.
