I don't know if this was posted earlier or covered on MSNBC or anything, but Al Gore had a lovely moment of knocking down GOP insults. I think by this point in the hearing he'd had it with the climate change denial and innuendo from a few nuts (I had anyway!) This woman was no match for him. Enjoy!

2. she deserved a sigh, an eye roll, and something worse.

She was so ready to push him to "divest" and had that question ready to go - she still asked it even after he preempted it.

Markey had to put up with a lot of crap today too - they'd lecture from climate denial booklets for 5 minutes and not let Gore or Warner talk, and then whine about not getting more time.

6. She's a shining example of the slow witted opposition who

can't stop themselves from asking the question after it has been answered because it's still in their script in front of them. After Gore explained where every single cent made from his business dealings with new technology companies goes (to the fight against climate change) she still tried to nail him by asking him if he divests himself of that money. Duh on her! Right after he just told her he does!

They're slow witted. Can't ad lib. No mental aerobics or creative spontaneous thought processes at all.
