I hate to think where we would be today if.... |
|
all we had to depend on was the radio and television for the news. No doubt, John McCain would be President and there would be no talk of torture and accountability. Democrats would be overwhelmed in both our House and Senate. And who knows what other disasters would have struck our country by now?
But we had the Internet. We had DemocraticUnderground and other web sites to expose the truth. We worked long and hard for years to make sure that the truth was not buried. I am certain we would be in much more dire straits if not for the Internet.

1. The Internet is killing the GOP |

Their lies don't work when there's a searchable record at everyone's fingertips.

Without the youtubes we might have President George Allen today.
It's tough for the GOP to keep up their mythical image making style of politics because everybody can see a "straight shooter" lie his/her ass off time and time again in their own words. They can't do it the way they used to do it. You could hardly have had two worse candidates for the youtube era than McCain and Palin either.
