I have spent all morning on the google machine and can't find what I am looking for. I want to create a database year to year what the wealthiest and most Republican county in Metro Atlanta (Cobb) and what the least wealthy and generally Democrat county in Metro Atlanta (Clayton) get in aid from the Federal government and from Georgia. I'm not going to add in local and county because this would all come from amongst themselves.
I have found quite a lot of bits and pieces here and there - usually old links trashing Cobb County during Newt's reign in the mid 90's - But I want more current info.
I am looking for
Money for public safety / police / fire/ homeland security / etc. Roads Other public works projects Education Pork Defense spending Welfare Medical care (medicare / medicaid / Schip / etc) SBA loan guarantees Federal home loan guarantees FDIC loan guarantees Tax breaks for businesses in each county
