After 8 years of king george and 30 years of neocon rule, |
|
with limpballs, Insannity and the like all over the airwaves,
with unrestrained corporate greed, banking scams, murderous war profiteers, torture acceptable to tens of millions...
I think the entire country already has the swine flu.

3. Republicanism is not a philosophy. It's primarily a two point |
|
plan of action, (1) take money from the middle class and give it to the rich and (2) do ever thing possible to see that the rich can keep their ill-gotten gains.

...I could not buy a car on credit, get a credit card or buy a house without co-signers.
Around 84-85, I couldn't even buy a five thousand dollar used car without half the money down because of lack of "established credit." By the end of 85, though, me, and everyone I knew, started getting flooded with "first time buyers" deals on new cars at triple that price, and credit cards for the asking.
Cheap / easily borrowed money created this problem, and the irresponsible lending goes back 30 plus years.
Extrapolate the GDP vs indexes vs credit over that period and you might begin to get a clue to the underpinnings of this whole mess.

11. It's what Raygun did, borrow huge sums to generate the illusion of prosperity |
|
and put the responsibility of paying back the loan on those that follow. It has been the strategy of the republiks and so-called "centrists" since 1982.
What's the difference between the republiks and the DLC?
