4. is there anything about the amount raised? Seems like it must be bad news to talk
number of donors at this point. (Bad news in terms of Hillary raising much more than any/everyone else.)

7. Hillary raised more than Obama
Edited on Mon Apr-02-07 11:00 AM by Quixote1818
I think what this suggests is that Hillary is getting big money from powerful people and Obama has more of true grassroots campaign.

8. I assumed as much since Arianna, a Hillary hater, is pushing back already.
disclaimer, I'm not a Hillary supporter. I will support her if she wins the nomination but for a dozen reasons I'd rather see someone else. I do think it is too early to start trashing her though, which Huffington has been doing for months. (I hate Arianna with a passion that is probably not healthy. And for her to bitch about people getting gobs of money from contributors is rich!)

11. Remember what this bitch did to the Clinton's in the 90's?
One of the reasons I refuse to ever grace her blog with my presence.

13. I do, but I might be able to forgive her if she wasn't still so
shrill ans stupid. I cringe everytime she is called to speak on some pundit show. She reduces everything to the lowest level. To her its always about politics.

And, for her to dis Hillary for getting the big bucks, in light of how she got rich (her divorce...or is it her marriage?) AND some rich fat cat gave her millions to start her blog. (Ok, yes, I'm being petty and I wouldn't mention it if she didn't keep dissing Hillary for raking in the big bucks!)

And, I will say, I would forgive her everything if she wasn't such a dip. Her dissing the dems for not ending the war a week or two after they took office ticked me off. All hail Queen Arianna.

10. The big money person does not always win.
The one who gets the most votes wins.

15. It will be inteersting to see who wins the quarerly donation race
26 M divided by 50,000 is and average of $520
26 M divided by 83,531 is abnd average of $304

Even if Obama is getting on 60% iof Hillary per head he will tie her.

He ties her I think he becomes the frontrunner and its his to lose.

Its not about money it is about percepetion. If he can match Hillary dollar for dollar If Hiullary can raise more than a two year senator. can she actuall win the nomination without Bill begging for money?
