Whoa, Joey Scars just went off script |
|
in a nutshell, he told the GOP, "put up or shut up."
either offer some alternatives or get off the stage
called out cantor and john boner on the GOP having no ideas, no solutions, nothing to offer.
that was an alcoholics moment of clarity right there.

1. Quite a damn few of us are waiting for the hapless Pukes to come up with |
|
an idea or two -- you know, as a sort of sustaining principle for justifying their existence -- that sort of thing.
Tick.
Tick.
Tick.
Etc.

2. Every Repuke that I've seen in the last few weeks constantly says |
|
"We're going to be coming out with a plan about (whatever) in the next few weeks" and then goes on to list some generalities, but never any plan. They don't have a plan YET? What are they waiting for? Seems to me that if they had any ideas, there would be something they might have a plan for.
For once, Joey Scar is right.

no one is supposed to notice that the new self-proclaimed party of ideas actually has no ideas. And it doesn't appear like they're doing much listening on their listening tour either. It's just the same old same old crusty piece of GOP. Blecccch.

7. Their confidence is rattled. They realize that "fuck the poor . . . |
|
succor the rich, and fluff the zealots" just can't be sold without the smoke and mirrors they used to generate with ease, and they.have.nothing.else.

4. He was inadvertently funny when the Inaug. Photog was on |
|
It was like he was being forced to eat spinach or liver or something... especially when he monotoned repeatedly "on such a remarkable day" without one shred of sincerity. What a pouty little putz this Scarb be. hahaha.

8. Scaborough is a typical Chickehawk Republicon Homelander propagandist |
|
Takes big corporate bucks to spout spin and lies, doing his lameass chickenhawk part to try and make America FAIL, the way the Republicons have so pathetically failed.

6. I think he worships Newt and |

is waiting for the "big guy" to make his move next year so he can jump on the bandwagon. Looked like he was writing off Cantor this morning.

9. You may not want to read this. But the Democrats appear to be still on target to smear Chavez and |
|
Morales and they appear to want to 'allow' war with Iran. Why do the Republicans need an agenda when we will do many of their things like these three for them? They still have Homeland Security, no fly lists, spying, torture prisons are still holding people. They still have lots of their favorites, minus a Roe vs Wade overturn, SS privatization, and those awful "Mexicans' are still in the country for which certain corporations are still happy. We're going slow so they also can go slow.

10. Their agenda is to be the Obstructionist Party. |
|
The party of "No". After all, their party's leader said early on he wants the President to fail.
Trouble is though, that might be hard to do with only 20% of the voters behind them.
And that number keeps dwindling with every passing day.

11. He's just trying to gin up ratings |
|
by goading a Repuke to say something other than the mealy-mouthed crap they've been saying.
But it's not going to work. Rethugs are pretty much going to stick to the script, which is to look like they're opposing President Obama and the Democratic Congress, without actually getting specific about anything. That's because there are only two possibilities for the future: 1) President Obama's plans will be seen to have been working, and are the right thing to do, in which case it doesn't make a damned bit of difference what the GOP has been saying, they'll get slaughtered again in the next election. Or, 2) Unemployment will top 10%, and stay there, we will have other colapses in what few remaining industries are left in America, a terrorist attack will take out an American city, etc., and the mushy middle will blame Obama and the Democratic Congress for it. At that time, they might vaguely remember a bunch of Rethugs shaking fingers on Joey Scar's show saying, "I told you so."
There really are no other alternatives. The Repukes' only chance is for failure of our leaders.
