Dunno where to ask, but I need help in locating a cheap plane ticket
Edited on Sat May-16-09 04:54 PM by Hawkeye-X
from Denver to NYC Thurs afternoon 5/21 to Monday afternoon 5/24 (arriving Denver at night is fine with us).

So far the cheapest I can find is $410.

The reason for the sudden trip is because my brother-in-law (my wife's brother) had a baby boy and we have to go to the bris.

My BIL was here for my son's Bris 3 months ago, and it should be fair.

It's for 2 of us, plus Joey.

We *WILL* accept ONE stop if necessary to keep prices down.

1. You try Frontier? They have the cheapest flights out of Denver
Although if that is a round trip price it's not bad...

5. The last few times I've flown
I've looked around a few cheap ticket sites then gone directly to the site of the airlines that had the best deals to my destination. I've always found equivalent if not better deals through airlines.

6. Try farecaster.com
I'm seeing $308 round trip on Delta (non-stop going, to JFK; one-stop thru Detroit on return, from LGA). Farecaster will also allow you to check prices on the other sites like expedia, priceline, etc. at the same time.

Do I get a "tip" for the information regarding the bris?

Mazel Tov to you and your family.

7. Check the "Last Minute" trip packages
On sites like travelocity.

http://lastminute.travelocity.com/?Service=TRAVELOCITY

The airlines and hotel chains put the unsold rooms and flights up for a significant discount. They're not always the most convenient but they can be way cheaper than a regular ticket. Should be a few packages available to NY.
