Heads Up: WJ: What do you think about President Obama speaking at Notre Dame today |
|
They've dedicated a line just for Catholics. This could be interesting.

3. According To C-SPIN...50% are now "Pro Life" |
|
Most thought those "protesting" were doing it for political, not "religious" purposes.
One thing Paul read...not sure where his source was...the article cited a survey that says for the first time 50% of Americans claim to be "pro life"...compared with 42% a year ago. I call bullshit!

5. C-SPIN Didn't Mention The Second Part Of The Poll... |
|
I have questions about how a poll can swing 8 points in one year...other than to think that the issue has faded in real political or real life importance except for a small vocal minority that would answer this question. Also, if it's a telephone poll, the polls is gonna be skewed older and more conservative. I'd sure like to see more qualitative data on this question and how the poll was conducted. Smells like an outlier...
That said, the second poll still shows a majority are in favor of a woman's right to choose...IMHO, same question, different framing. Those numbesr have remained consistant over the years. The C-Spinner musta been in a hurry and "forgot" to show that data.

7. The media are traitors and will destroy this country with our consent |

Why we continued to feed them is beyond comprehension. I refuse to watch any more news shows. They lie like fucks.

8. Ignore Them At Our Peril... |
|
I remember Mike Malloy lamenting in the 90s about how liberals and progressives were ignoring the right wing infilatration and corporate dumbing down of the media. It gave up the Coultergeists and Hannitys with no voices on our side to counter. Now that we've got this beast caged...why we don't need to feed it, we sure have to keep a close eye on it...and their corporate media enablers.
Cheers...
