Nancy Pelosi is a designed distraction
Remember

Katrini's aftermath = state & local's fault

Phil Graham and the dumping of "The Glass Steagall Act" which in turn unleashed holy hell on an unregulated banking, insurance,
and wall street industries = It was Barney Franks Fault

Cheney and Rummy torturing, killing, and putting people in prison so as to make a link between Iraq
(Saddam) and 9/11. Even though they knew that Saddam used to kill any al Qaeda people he could in Iraq = Look @ Nancy Pelosi

*****************

Cheney is an evil man ..... he sent Colin Powell to the U.N. to hold up a little vile to scare people that if this was anthrax it could kill everybody in the room and Saddam has
mobile biological weapons labs ....... even though by DNA he knew that the anthrax came from Ft. Detrick, MD w/ in weeks of it's use in 2001.

1. Ya think?
Because of the gullibility and corruption of the news media, the whole Pelosi thing gained some traction in the first days they were pushing it.

But then, as they always do, they overplayed their hand and pounded and pounded it until even non-pelosi fans began to question it.

And they STILL don't know when to STFU. Even their talking head friends seem a bit embarrassed by the whole thing now.

It's not only a designed distraction, it's a poorly thought out one and it's beginning to blow up in their faces because they were too fuckin dumb to let it drop. It's liable to be the catalyst for investigations, "truth commisssions", special prosecutors, and eventually trials of high bush officials on war crimes charges.

2. A concerted effort to burn the witch for "weeks ago" allowing CIA lying inquiry
In a word, the Pelosi witch hunt is "punishment" = "Cross us and we will burn you alive."

from: *** Congress Investigating Documented CIA Lying ***

This BIG news today from The Ed Show on MSNBS:

Congress Investigating Documented CIA Lying
VIDEO here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x5682421

No wonder the Rs are playing a pre-emptive 'Convict Pelosi' media spin game!
Bush liars are already targets of a Congressional inquiry in process.

Rep. Jan Schakowski, Intelligence Comm., Chair of the Oversight and Investigations Sub-Committee,
instructed the Intelligence Comm. staff "weeks ago" to begin considerations
for "a thoughtful and reasonable and responsible inquiry."

Rep. Jan Schakowski:
"On our subcommittee we are beginning an inquiry into a situation ...
initiated by the ranking minority member to look at a situation where the CIA
did mislead the Congress ... a documented issue of the CIA misleading the Congress ..."

========
Spinning off a new thread after:
Will Porter Goss be prosecuted for lying to Congress?

3. You got that right. A designed distraction - and it is unbelievable
how many people bought it - hook, line and sinker. And of course the media went nuts with it. Cheney pulled a good one there - divert attention from yourself. Many of us here knew that from day one but still watched it evolve into the big distraction it is.
