A Senate Hall of Shame
How did your senator vote on Senate Vote on H.R.627: Motion to Waive CBA Sanders Amdt. No. 1062; to establish a national consumer credit usury rate?

Gee thanks guys. I guess you're not being crushed under a crippling credit card debt thanks to the fucking hurricanes four and a half years ago (or some other unexpected crisis many people encounter through no fault of their own)*. My family still hasn't caught up and we're not bloody well going to since every time I turn around the damned credit card company is hiking the rate, assessing more fees and basically shoving a hot poker up my ass. Oh well, at least we both still have jobs despite having to take pay cuts for the first time in our careers. They'll keep getting the minimum payment as the balance balloons. At least these poor suffering institutions will maintain an income stream.

*If one person takes me to task for living in a hurricane area I will go tasmanian devil all over you, so don't even go there.

1. It is a well known fact that financially irresponsible people attract hurricanes...
... not to mention flooded cities, fires, tornados, and other natural disasters.

:sarcasm:

2. There is that. We've also been known to attract things like...
cancer, heart attacks, debilitating car accidents. We're annoying that way. ;)

3. Thank you, Amy Klobuchar
Wish you could have voted twice, since, by law, we should be represented by two senators.
