Regarding John Conyers....is it just me, or.... |
|
did anyone else hear a veiled reference to impeachment and removal from office in his speech at the really today (which I absolutely loved!)
My favorite line was when he said "The President can't fire us (Congress). He can't fire you. But we can fire him!"
I just loved that line specifically because I thought it was a call to the House (impeachment) and the Senate (removal from office).
Anyone else pick up on that?

However, watch Stupid try to point to his signing statements as justification to dissolve Congress and declare martial law.

With all the stuff that's coming out in the Libby trial, I personally think Cheney's definitely on the way out and Chucklenuts won't be too far behind.
I was only 19-20 years old during Watergate and this is beginning to look like "deja vu all over again"...

He can't have meant anything else. Bush isn't up for re-election and the only way he can be "fired" is by impeaching him. There's no doubt at all that's what Conyers meant.
