Thinking of you today, Paige, and hoping someday we catch this person so you can finally rest in peace.

Paige and me in 1966:

Paige right before she disappeared in 1990:

1. Sorry there hasn't been justice yet but many times these criminals get (eventually) arrested for
other crimes.

5. I'm glad you are able to tell HER story....
She is the one that matters, after all...The perpetrator may well be long dead, or not, but thankfully you are able to continue her memory. May she rest in peace.

6. I hope they
catch the person and that you and her family find peace. I had a friend grabbed off the street in 1972. Her body was found in the woods bludgeoned to death, raped as well. No one has ever even been brought in, there was no clue who did it. It is sad and it does hurt. She was not my best friend but a friend who we all hung out with. I can't imagine how you must feel.

7. Wow, she is so beautiful...
Your friend was such a gorgeous child--so sweet--and she grew up to be a very beautiful woman.

I am so sorry. I know this must hurt so much, and I'm sure there is a lot of anger.

As another poster said, it is good that you are keeping her story, and her memory alive.

You honor her when you do that, and you are still a good friend to her.

11. I'm so very sorry to hear about your friend...
I am an Area Director for The Doe Network. We are an online group of volunteers who try to assist law enforcement in matching John/Jane Does with missing persons.

I will bookmark your friend, and spend some time looking for her. If there is anything specific that may help me that is not in your link, or mine below; feel free to PM me.

Don't ever give up hope. Just a few weeks ago, a young man who went missing 75 years ago was finally found and identified.

Here's our link to Paige: http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/294dfmi.html

12. I hope your friend is found and you learn what happened.
Closure is highly overrated, and finding out for sure will be a fresh horror, but all that said, it is better to know than to not know.

In any case, I wish you healing. What a horrible way to lose a wonderful person in your life.

13. I hope the perp(s) are caught, or at least identified if they are already dead.

Sorry this happened to your friend.
