does it bother anyone else that we celebrate our leaders who are the biggest whores? |
|
All I hear all fricken day is how much money "X" has received.
you know what that means right?
bought and paid for by corporations even before being elected.
Its a crappy corporate run single party system.

3. Getting Money MIGHT Mean Someone is a Whore |
|
Or it could be a sign that they are inspirational.
Howard Dean raised a lot - and he don't put out as a cash transactions.
In the present case, I don't know if Obama is a whore or not, though I don't see any sign of it at first look. But he's certainly perceived as the anti-Hillary, and that seems to have spurred many, many people to give.

4. take away donation from folks making over $100,000.00 per year |
|
take away corporate bribes.
I wonder who actually had regular people donate to them? I bet Mitt Romney and Dennis Kucinich had the most "regular people" donations.
Does anyone have the time to find out who got the little bucks that really count?
Two parties, under one corporation...

6. I almost make that much.....why should i lose my right to donate???? |
|
A couple more raises and I'd lose my right to donate?????
After house payment (not big but we didn't have any money to put down five years ago), student loans from college, car payment (we live in suburban NC and need it to get around), a lot of taxes, spiraling heating and energy bills, and three kids to feed and clothe, I don't feel rich at all.
At most I have 3-4K to split between Democratic Candidates each year, and I'd like to still do that please.
Now people making over 250K, I might be down with that.

8. You are one of the top 10% of earners on the planet - be proud! |
|
I am asking which candidate was able to raise money from poor people.
What I want to know is which candidate raised the most money from people earning less then $100,000.00 .
I did not desire to disrespect wealthy / upper middle class Americans. I just want to know which candidates did good among the poor folks.
I would be amazed if someone raised 20 million dollars and was able to raise this amount of money from lower middle class / working poor donors.
I know that corporations could kick in 20 mill and not miss it. I am interested in how much of donated cash came from people that are not rich.
ps- I make less then 30,000 - I am also in the top 10% of earners in this world. The world is full of poor people that will never see $100,000.00 or $30,000.00... pretty sad, no?
