Sat on the front porch and watched it roll in to Roanoke this afternoon. Didn't have the strong winds but had heavy downpours and hair-raising lightening. :D

getting in Texas off and on for the last few days. It was pretty bad this morning. The dog woke me up shivering in the bed. She hates storms and heavy rain. I can't keep her out of any pool though. Go figure!

7. I am in DC and all hell is about to break loose |
|
The sky has darkened up and there is some rumbling going on. The wind is picking up. We have been having a lot of thunderstorms lately. We have had some tree limbs fall off our big oak recently.

Worst wave hit about 9:00 PM last night (EST). Got about two inches of rain in 30 minutes according to my rain gauge. Swamped my just planted pepper bushes, I hope it's not going to damage them. Tons of lightning, but no power loss (amazing, we almost always lose power).
