Cheney: Pelosi’s Syria visit constitutes ‘bad behavior’
Vice President Dick Cheney weighed in on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) trip to Syria Thursday, calling her statement about peace talks with Israel “nonsensical,” and the visit an example of “bad behavior.”

On Wednesday Pelosi conveyed to Syrian President Bashar Assad that Israel was open to peace talks with Syria. Israel quickly clarified that its policy on Syria had not changed.

“It was a non-statement, nonsensical statement and didn’t make any sense at all that she would suggest that those talks could go forward as long as the Syrians conducted themselves as a prime state sponsor of terror,” Cheney said in an interview Thursday with talk radio host Rush Limbaugh.

The White House previously had criticized Pelosi’s trip, saying her presence rewards Syria’s support for groups deemed to be terrorist organizations. Cheney added, “It is, in fact, bad behavior on her part.”

3. same old bullshit from the Republicans and the media
Dems negotiating and exercising diplomacy is a bad thing, makes America weak. But when a Repig like Condi or Bush or Cheney pretends to try diplomacy, its suddenly a virtue.

4. Well now if that isn't the pot calling the kettle black.
Speaking of "Bad Behavior":

- The war in Iraq, based on lies and intentionally misleading information
- Rampant cronyism in the current administration
- 3,200+ dead troops
- A bankrupt treasury

Bush and Cheney, when they leave office in 2009, will have decimated this country.

Now, that's what I call "BAD BEHAVIOR".

Go F*ck yourself, Cheney. If you still can. The American people are tired of being f*cked over by you and your gang of hoodlums.

9. With an approval rating of 19% his comments are irrelevant.
The Cheny/Bush foreign policy hasn't exactly been a success so who is he to talk trash about Nancy? Maybe if Condi actually did her job there would have been no need for Pelosi and others to make a trip over there. Also, I'm thinking Cheney and Bush are pissed that diplomacy may succeed.

Did we find his WMD?

Is the insurgency in its last throws???

This man should not ever be even asked anything.

He deserves to never be mentioned or ever to be on TV again.

You are just as benefitial asking a 6 year old an opinion because its about the same thing.

20. I suppose he thinks diplomacy is bad behaviour
Which is why he never practices it himself.

In any case, if the devil himself says you're behaving badly, you're probably doing something right!

21. I guess Issa's behavior is even worse
President Bashar al-Assad met a Republican member of the U.S. Congress on Thursday, a day after Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi ended a visit to Syria that was criticized by the White House

or is only ok for Republicans to have a say in this countries policies. Dick Cheney VP of the 18 percenters.
